Even its title, E-mazing Show, reflects Amazing Show’s signature homespun Taiwanese humor. For their first remix album, the band invited six electronic music acts to give eight of their classic tracks an electronic “cosmetic makeover.”
Following their guest appearance on The Rappers, Amazing Show went on to collaborate with several emerging rappers. This time, “Only Scott Knows” gets a makeover from producer 2-CHI, taking listeners on an electronic express ride into new territory. “You are My Crazy Lover” is reworked by DJ Hauer, a co-founder of STR Network, who transforms its retro Taiwanese flavor into a trance soundscape. DJ 小庭, CcozZ, 理化兄弟, and the AP Entertainment music team round out the roster of “cosmetic surgeons,” bringing the sound of “Cyber Taike” to a euphoric electronic dance party.
