Amazing Show’s latest EP of 2022, Lovers, Folks, Tales.
Chapter 1. Lovers: “Don’t say it out loud, because tomorrow we may no longer care.”
Chapter 2. Folks: “Don’t say it out loud, because today we’re out in space.”
Chapter 3. Tales: “Don’t say it out loud, because yesterday we loved until we fell.”
Lovers, Folks, Tales is a gift to our 27-year-old selves. It may not be transcendent or grand, but even artists who speak of castles in the air will eventually find themselves entangled in love.
The physical release was designed and overseen by Wei Lee. Each of the three songs—“Lovers,” “Folks,” and “Tales”—has its own lyric card. Paired with a transparent CD case, the cards let listeners choose their favorite song as the cover, giving tangible form to their own vision of the trilogy.
